Generation X

What is generation X?

Generation X, or Gen X, refers to the generation of individuals born between 1965 and 1980. Those in this generation are also known as post-boomers, as they succeeded the baby boomers. Since they grew up between the baby boomers and millennials, two large cohorts, they are sometimes called the forgotten generation.

Gen Xers, on the other hand, tend to be more independent and skeptical of authority, placing a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
