MCP Changelog

This page lists changes to the Zoho Payments tools available through the Zoho MCP server. Refer to MCP Server for the list of supported tools and how to set up the server.

Date Type Change
Oct 27, 2026 Removed Removed the Request Instant Payout tool (requestInstantPayout, POST /payout/manual) and the related ZohoPay.payouts.CREATE scope.
Changed MCP client access is now off by default. The account owner or an admin must enable it in Zoho Payments settings before an MCP client can connect.
Oct 12, 2026 Fixed Corrected the OAuth scope for instant payouts from ZohoPay.settlements.CREATE to ZohoPay.payouts.CREATE.
Oct 9, 2026 Added Added the following KYC tools:
  • KYC: Retrieve KYC Status (getKycStatus), Retrieve Uploaded Documents (getUploadedDocuments), and Retrieve Bank Account Verification Status (getBankAccountVerificationStatus).
  • Required Documents: Retrieve Required Documents (getRequiredDocuments).
  • Video KYC: Retrieve Video KYC Status (getVideoKycStatus).
Aug 10, 2026 Added Added the following tools:
  • Connected Accounts: List connected accounts and list connected account transactions.
  • Disputes: List disputes and retrieve a dispute.
  • Payouts: Retrieve balance and request an instant payout.
  • POS Terminals: List terminals, retrieve a terminal, update a terminal's name, and list terminal locations.
  • Reports: All transactions report, account balance summary, and transaction fee report.
  • Transfers: Create, list, and retrieve transfers and transfer reversals for Split Settlement.
Apr 6, 2026 Added Added the List Merchant Accounts tool (listMerchantAccounts).
Mar 18, 2026 Added Released the Zoho Payments MCP tools for customers, payment sessions, payment links, payments, refunds, and payouts, along with an error reference. Tools for mandates, payment method sessions, and payment methods are planned for a future release.
