Kenyan businesses and government services are adapting to digital alternatives to explore opportunities in the nation's newly launched ten-year Digital Master Plan. This plan, initiated in 2022, sets up national digital identity proofs, a national public key infrastructure (PKI) for digital signatures, and digital literacy programs. Zoho Sign has provided technological backing for these initiatives and continues to support Kenya's digital paperwork transformation through cloud solutions, Partner engagements, networking events, and domain expertise.

After our participation at the National Public Key Infrastructure (NPKI) Forum 2024, Zoho Sign was invited to be a part of panel discussions at Kenya's Digital Trust Forum 2025—organized by Geda and Evrotrust—where government officials, cybersecurity and legal consultants, trust services providers, and other beneficiaries assembled to discuss the critical value of trust services and digital signatures for business transformation in 2025.

The agenda included panel discussions, technical workshops, interactive discussions, and keynote addresses from industry experts and government officials about how security, compliance, and efficiency are competitive advantages for businesses that opt for digital signatures. Some of the other significant topics included:

  • The importance of digital trust

  • Strategies to harness advanced electronic signatures (AES) and data privacy as tools for compliant business growth

  • A roadmap on implementing AES with the best practices and insights on common pitfalls

  • Detailed case studies on success stories of digital trust

Represented by Chandramouli Dorai (Chief Evangelist, Cyber Solutions and Digital Signatures, Zoho) and Subramanian T (Product Manager, Zoho Sign), Zoho Sign presented at two panels and conducted interactive discussions with the attendees on digital trust, sustainable implementation strategies, the latest advancements in digital signatures and trust services, common challenges and methods to overcome them, and a roadmap on the potential future of digital business paperwork.
