We at Zoho People have started the new year with a bang. Our product development team introduced a great set of features and enhancements last month to help organizations nurture their employees and simplify HR. Here's everything new in Zoho People since January 2023:
New enhancement to IP and geo-restrictions
IP and geo-restrictions in Zoho People allow HR teams to ensure employees mark attendance from the right places. For instance, IP restrictions assure employees only mark their attendance when they are in the specified IP range, whereas geo-restrictions allow employees to mark their attendance only when they are within a defined location. Using one of our recent enhancements, HR admins can now filter the IP and geo-restrictions that they set using the restriction name, employee name, designation, department, location, and role. Learn more about IP and geo-restrictions.
New enhancement to Cases
The Cases module in Zoho People allows HR teams to collect, track, and resolve employee queries in an organized manner. As an HR administrator, you can create multiple categories like compensation, benefits, leave, travel, and transport, under which employees can submit their requests and queries. Additionally, you can create subcategories to sort employee queries and assign agents to each of them. With one of our recent enhancements, you can make it mandatory for your employees to select a subcategory when they submit their queries. Learn more about this enhancement.
A new report in the performance management system
The performance management system in Zoho People supports an array of reports that provide managers and HR teams with a clear idea about employee performance trends. They can track each employee's active goals, skills, feedback, and a lot more. With one of our recent enhancements, performance administrators will now be able to track the list of employees who don't have any skills assigned to them. Learn more about this enhancement.
New enhancement to the attendance tracker
The attendance tracker in Zoho People helps HR teams seamlessly track employee attendance and working hours without any errors. Employees can mark their attendance using the web app, mobile app, or even facial recognition technology. With one of our recent enhancements, it is now possible to restrict automated check-in and check-out of any sort. For instance, you can restrict employees from using Siri, the iOS virtual assistant, to automatically check in and out. Learn more about this enhancement.
Take these features for a spin and let us know how useful they were to your HR team in streamlining your HR operations. For queries, please write to support@zohopeople.com!
