Expressing gratitude is particularly hard this year. The market threw curve balls like inflation, a global talent shortage, and volatile business environments. Behind these temporary setbacks, though, there are plenty of good things to give thanks for.

"AI" is probably the most used term in business meetings, right after, "Can you see my screen?" AI automates several difficult and time-consuming recruiting tasks, letting you focus on more important things, like building relationships with candidates.

According to Randstad's talent trends report, inherent core skills like creativity, adaptability, and problem solving are evolving as must-haves for candidates. With AI boosting productivity across all fields, we're heading toward a world where candidates are assessed for who they are and what they can do, rather than their past skills and achievements.

Overall, AI helps us discover new ways to assess candidates, implement better hiring practices, and serve clients faster. For that, thank technology and AI.

All-round growth

You got through another year of trying new things, facing rejections, dealing with difficult situations, and simply showing up every day. Whether you realize it or not, you have grown into a better recruiter. What doesn't break you makes you stronger. Give yourself a big pat on the back for staying true to your heart and pushing through all the events in your career and life.

Lastly, remind yourself that being a recruiter is an amazing job. You're not just helping people switch jobs; you're changing lives and making dreams come true. We turned 15

This July, we celebrated 15 years of Zoho Recruit. Since 2009, we've been serving the recruitment industry across the world, helping recruiters fulfill their dreams and duties through our ATS. We've stayed true to our promise of privacy and security the entire time.

In the last decade and a half, Zoho Recruit grew from a team of seven people to more than 200. We helped make 4 million hires and served over 10,000 businesses across 120 countries. For all this, we are humbly thankful.

ReCon '24 India

We organized our first conference for recruiters in India. We invited TA experts and pioneers across the country for a one-day event in Bengaluru. It was a day full of listening to career experiences from hundreds of recruiters, exploring cutting-edge technology, and preparing for the future of recruitment.
