Disputes

Disputes are claims by customers (cardholders) against their sellers requesting a payment reversal. This could be raised by a dissatisfied customer, or it could be a result of fraud by the seller. The customer approaches their issuing bank requesting a refund, resulting in a chargeback for the seller. The seller can choose to challenge the dispute to reverse the funds or accept the dispute.
