Pay Stubs
Note: This feature is only available in the US edition of Zoho Spend.
Pay stubs are documents that provide a comprehensive breakdown of an employee’s earnings, deductions, and taxes for a specific pay period. The Pay Stubs module in Zoho Spend provides employees with a detailed view of their earnings for each pay period. Employees can also review and download their pay stubs.
Here’s how to check your pay stubs in Zoho Spend:
- Click Payroll on the left sidebar.
- Select Pay Stubs.
- You can view the pay stubs for a specific period, check your pay stub details, and download or print your pay stubs.
View Your Pay Stubs
To view your pay stubs for a specific fiscal year, select the desired year from the Fiscal Year dropdown. This will display a list of all pay periods for that year, each with the following details:
- Pay Period: The start and end dates of each pay period.
- Gross Pay: The total earnings before deductions for the pay period.
- Net Pay: The final amount after all deductions.
Click on any pay period date to view the full details of that pay stub.
Pay Stub Details
Each pay stub provides a comprehensive breakdown of your earnings, deductions, and taxes for the selected pay period. Here’s a quick overview of the main sections you’ll find:
- Earnings: Details of your pay rate, hours worked, and total amount earned for each type of pay, such as regular pay.
- Deductions: Itemized deductions, including contributions toward benefits and garnishments, if applicable.
- Taxes: A breakdown of taxes withheld for the period, covering federal, state, and other applicable taxes.
- Net Pay: This is the amount you take home after all deductions and taxes have been accounted for.
Download or Print Your Pay Stubs
To keep a record of your pay stubs, you can download or print each one. Here’s how:
- Click Payroll on the left sidebar.
- Select Pay Stubs.
- Click the Download button to save a copy to your device.
Pro Tip: If you want to secure your pay stubs with a password, check the I want to protect this file with a password option and provide a Password.
