# How do I check if the customer portal is enabled for a customer?

To check if the customer portal is enabled for a customer:

1.  Log in to your Zoho Books account.
2.  Click **Customers** under _Sales_ in the left sidebar.
3.  Select the customer for whom you want to check if the customer portal is enabled.
4.  Search for **Portal Status** in the _Other Details_ section of the customer’s Details page. It will say if the portal is enabled or disabled for the customer. ![Customer Portal Status of a Customer in Zoho Books](/books/kb/images/portal/customer-portal-customer-status.png)
