Nicky Mondellini, a talented voice-over artist based in Houston, Texas, has been in the entertainment industry for many years. Originally from Mexico City, Nicky migrated to the United States nearly two decades ago and has built a successful freelance career, lending her voice to numerous projects. Additionally, QuickBooks lacked certain features that were crucial for Mondellini's freelance business, such as the ability to create invoices in multiple currencies—a requirement for her international clients. Upgrading to access these features would have required a higher-tier plan, which she found unnecessary and expensive.

Mondellini was introduced to Zoho’s ecosystem through Zoho Mail in 2016, recommended by her web designer. Impressed by the platform’s simplicity and integration, she later discovered Zoho One through another voice-over artist and was drawn to the idea of having an all-in-one solution. In 2023, she migrated her accounting to Zoho Books with the help of a Zoho expert, finding the transition smooth and the system intuitive.
One feature she particularly enjoys is the seamless transaction matching capability.
When categorizing transactions from my credit card or checking account, Zoho Books pulls up related invoices, and I can just click Merge to match the amounts. It saves so much time,” she shared.
She also appreciates the automated invoicing system, which allows her to quickly generate and send invoices to clients. This feature has helped her streamline her cash flow, reducing the time spent on administrative tasks.

Zoho Books has significantly reduced Nicky’s time spent on administrative tasks, freeing her up to focus more on her creative work. She now spends only a couple of hours each month on accounting, compared to several hours each week before.
