What is the difference between Disconnect and Reauthorisation?

Disconnect and Reauthorisation serve different purposes:

ActionWhat It Does
DisconnectRemoves the existing HMRC connection entirely from your Zoho Books organisation. You will need to set up the connection again if you want to resume submitting quarterly updates.
ReauthorisationRefreshes the HMRC connection when the authorisation token expires (after 18 months) or becomes invalid. Your existing configurations, mapped accounts, and business details remain unchanged.

Use Reauthorisation when your connection has expired but you want to continue with the same setup. Use Disconnect only if you want to remove the HMRC connection completely.
