Why am I not getting notifications for the actions performed by my delegate?

By default, notifications are not generated for the actions performed by the delegate. However, your admin can configure a workflow rule in Zoho Spend to trigger custom notifications to employees when the delegate approves or rejects expense reports or trips. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar. (OR)
  • Click Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Workflow Rules under Automation.
  • Click + New Workflow Rule in the top right corner.
  • Provide a Name for your workflow, select the Module, provide a Description, and click Next.
  • Select the Workflow Type, select when to trigger the workflow, and click Next.
  • Click + New Criteria.
  • Select the action to be performed and the employee role for which the custom action must be generated.
  • Click + Immediate Actions.
  • Select In-App Notifications as the Type and select the Name of the notification.
  • Click Save. Now, you will receive in-app notifications when your delegate performs any actions on trips or expense reports.
