How do I notify the approver once an advance has been submitted to them?

Every approver receives an in-app notification when an advance request is submitted to them. Here’s how you can notify the approver via email once an advance has been submitted to them:

Note: Custom Approval should be enabled to notify the approver via email after the advance has been submitted.

  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
    (OR)
    Click Settings in the top right corner of the page.
  • Navigate to Module Settings.
  • Select Advances under Travel & Expense.
  • In the Preferences tab, navigate to Submission Preferences.
  • Check the Notify approver via email option. This option will only be available if Custom Approval is enabled for the Advnaces module.
  • Click Save.
