Advances - Overview

The Advances module in Zoho Spend allows users and employees to request or record an advance for business expenses. You can request advances for travel or other business needs and associate them to expense reports.

This helps your organization track how much of the advance has been used and what remains. Alternatively, you can manually record the advances you’ve received.

Statuses of Advances

  • All: All the advances recorded will be shown under the All status.
  • Unreported: Advances that are not reported will be in the Unreported status.
  • Reported: Advances that are applied to an expense report will be in the Reported status.
  • Void: Advances that have been voided by the employee will be in the Void status.
