Users and Employees Preferences

Let’s have a look at the preferences you can configure for the Users and Employees module in Zoho Spend.

Users Preferences

You can configure the preferences of the Users module from the Preferences page. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
  • Click Users under People.

You can configure the following preferences for the Users module:

Custom Fields

If you want to add additional details such as important document links and attachments about your employees, create custom fields to capture the specific information based on your needs.

Employees Preferences

You can configure the preferences of the Employees module from the Preferences page. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
  • Click Employees under People.

You can configure the following preferences for the Employees module:

Auto-Generate Employee ID

You can either choose to auto-generate employee IDs or manually enter the employee IDs.

  • Go to Settings on the left sidebar.
  • Click Employees under People.
  • Go to the General tab.
    • If you choose to auto-generate employee IDs, mark the checkbox and enter the Prefix and provide the start Number.
    • If you choose to manually enter the employee IDs, mark the checkbox.
  • Click Save.

Custom Fields

If you want to add additional details such as important document links and attachments about your employees, create custom fields to capture the specific information based on your needs.

Custom Buttons and Links

Custom Buttons allows you to perform specific actions to items when the button is clicked. Custom Links opens an external link. You can create them using a deluge script and execute actions based on the functions you add.
