Custom Modules

Scenario: Zylker Corp is a company based in India. They are mandated by law to report their CSR spending as per the Companies Act, 2013, which requires eligible companies to spend at least 2% of their average net profits on CSR initiatives. To ensure compliance, transparency, and proper tracking of CSR-related spending, the CSR Committee at Zylker Corp decides to create a Custom Module in Zoho Spend.

This module will allow the team to:

• Record CSR project proposals submitted by departments or CSR partners.
• Verify and approve NGOs and charitable organizations before funding.
• Allocate budgets to approved CSR initiatives.
• Track all spending against allocated CSR budgets.
• Maintain receipts, invoices, agreements, and compliance documentation.
• Generate impact and utilization reports for board reviews and audit submissions.

By the end of the financial year, Zylker Corp is able to generate accurate CSR expenditure summaries, impact documentation, and supporting evidence for statutory reporting.
