Form Action on Submission

On the submission of a form, the default action is considered for the Submit button. If the cancel button action is not handled in the function code, all the input values will be cancelled by default and the form will not return any response. It can have three different outputs:

  1. banner
  2. section_edit
  3. form_error

The list of attributes that are passed when this handler is triggered are given below:

formDetails of the form object and the input values.

Workflow of the form controller

  1. Create a form for a specific task.
  2. Create a form controller and associate it with concerned form. 
  3. On form submission, the input values received in the form controller can be used to perform the intended action. 

Note: This form controller will work only if the code used in the Widgets page is used.
