Custom Modules

To accommodate your business requirements, you can create your own modules to record information specific to your needs and not addressed by the default modules in Zoho Procurement. These modules are referred to as Custom Modules. If you choose to display your custom modules in the vendor portal, vendors can perform certain actions on the custom module’s records based on the preferences you configure. In this help document, you will learn what these actions are and how your vendors can perform them.

Create Records

If you have enabled the preference for vendors to create records for your custom module from the vendor portal, they can create records and submit them for approval. Here is how:

  • Log in to the vendor portal.
  • Click the custom module on the left sidebar.
  • Click + New in the top right corner.
  • Fill in the required details.
  • Click Submit to send the record to you for approval, or click Save as Draft if the preference is enabled for the custom module.

Edit Records

If you have enabled the option for vendors to edit records they created for your custom module, they can edit those records. Here is how:

  • Log in to the vendor portal.
  • Click the custom module on the left sidebar.
  • Click the record they want to edit and click Edit at the top.
  • Make the necessary changes and click Submit.

Add Comments

If you have enabled the option for vendors to add comments to the records they created for your custom module in the vendor portal, they can do so. Here is how:

  • Log in to the vendor portal.
  • Click the custom module on the left sidebar.
  • Click the record for which they want to add comments and click the Comments icon in the top right corner.
  • Enter the comment in the text box. Vendors can format the text using bold, italics, and underline.
  • Click Add Comment.
