# Is it possible to convert a quote into an invoice using Zoho Books API?

No, it is not possible to convert a quote into an invoice using API.

However, while creating an invoice using the API, you can link it to an existing quote. To establish this link, use the [create an invoice](https://www.zoho.com/books/api/v3/invoices/#create-an-invoice) API and pass the **estimate\_id** in the JSON string.
