Zoho Doubles Down in Latin America with New Office in Mexico

Company Facilitates Growth with Dedicated Office in Querétaro, Mexico. Plans to Roll Out Spanish-Language Support and Local Currency Pricing

Querétaro, Mexico, May 14, 2019 Zoho, a global, privately held company that offers the most comprehensive suite of business software applications in the industry, announced today the opening of a permanent office in Querétaro, Mexico. Already staffed with 15 employees—all hired locally—this new office gives Zoho boots on the ground to grow the company's profile and forge new customer relationships in Mexico, which is Zoho's largest market in Latin America. In addition, the Querétaro location will be Zoho's springboard to an aggressive Latin American expansion.

Zoho chose Querétaro to be its first office in Latin America because the city is young, filled with skilled, educated talent, and is located outside of a major metropolis. Mexico is similar in both demographics and culture to India, where Zoho is globally headquartered. Mexico feels like home to Zoho, and the company is passionate about ensuring its current and future employees in Latin America experience a high quality of living. Zoho sees Mexico and the rest of Latin America as important markets that will play an increasingly crucial role in the global economy.

Through an incredible network of some 200 partners, Zoho has been well-known throughout Latin America for over a decade, with more than 10,000 Zoho customers in the region. Close to half of our business in Latin America comes through our partner network. Now with a dedicated presence in the territory, Zoho will be able to work alongside these partners to expand the company's reach and improve customers' businesses exponentially.

"The demand for business software in Latin America is tremendous," said Miguel Angel Arce, CEO of MDO Technologies and decade-long Zoho partner in Mexico. "Now that Zoho has an established office in Queretero, we can more aggressively help our customers in the region achieve digital transformation. It's quite exciting to see Zoho’s expanding commitment not only to Mexico, but to the rest of Latin America."

"Zoho is committed to Mexico because they know the potential of this market," said Jesus Hoyos, Managing Director of Solvis Consulting. "They've hired talented people to address specific business needs: sales, technical support, marketing, etc. Their flexible pricing supports small and medium companies, and the ability to invoice in local currency is so important. What is Zoho trying to say with all these actions? They are in Mexico and LATAM to stay."

"With Zoho, we can systematize our processes, quantify almost every KPI, manage information in a very neat way, predict tendencies, measure staff performance, and analyze our customers' preferences, among other great advantages," said Alejandra Chavarria, Business Manager of Chevrolet Monterrey, Mexico. "There's nothing we can't do with their apps. Zoho in Mexico represents a giant leap forward, and it will lead to even greater collaboration."
