- Advanced control over session recordings: Our latest update gives organization admins more control over meeting and webinar recordings. Organization admins can now enforce auto-recording for sessions, and prevent hosts from accessing, sharing, downloading, and even deleting session recordings.
- Custom sender and reply-to email addresses: You can now configure the sender and reply-to email addresses for your meeting invitations and follow-up reminders. While configuring, you can replace the default email address with either the meeting host's email address or a custom email address.

- Video scaling: The individual video feeds can be scaled to fit or fill the respective grids depending on your requirements and preferences. This can be done by simply double-tapping the video cell or by long-pressing the video cell and selecting “scale to fit/fill.”
- Context menus: Users can carry out quick actions for themselves such as mute/unmute, scale to fit/fill the video, and rename their display name via the context menu by long pressing the video cells. Hosts can do these same actions for themselves and for others as well, including the option to remove participants.

- Enhanced user interface: We've worked on enhancing our user interface, and we've made major updates on our Settings tab that will help businesses customize their Zoho Meeting account, always taking their participants and attendees into consideration.
- Retain your original audio settings: You can now retain the original sound from your microphone without using any audio enhancement features. Enabling this setting helps you to preserve the audio received from your microphone without using echo cancellation or other audio filters.
- Start meeting using a join link: Anyone with presenter access to the meeting can now start the meeting from the join link.

iOS:
- Multi-video feed interface: We are happy to present video conferencing with a new, interactive interface to view all participants simultaneously. Now users can view all of the participants who've enabled their cameras in the session enhancing their user experience.
- Pinning: Users can pin their own or other participants’ feeds. The pinned tile will be displayed as a large grid, and users can see up to three video feeds in a minimized grid. This helps users to actively follow someone during the meeting while also keeping an eye on other participants in the minimized grid at the bottom.
- Highlighting the active speaker: Active speakers during the meeting will have a green frame around their video feed. This helps to keep track of who is currently speaking and also reduces the frustration of manually figuring out who is speaking.
- Mic status: The mic status (muted/unmuted) of participants will be displayed inside the respective video feeds. This lets users alert someone if they speak with the mic muted.
- Bug fixes for an issue that’s causing audio to be blocked in random cases.

- Bug fixes related to the reminder email not being sent to users when a recurring session is edited and the normal join link is sent for custom domain users.
- We’ve also completed some bug fixes related to the Japanese characters being recognized as emojis in polls, and the issue around laptops going to sleep during audio sessions if there’s no interaction on the page.

- Request to unmute: Meeting participants might mute themselves to ensure that there are no disturbances or background noises coming from their side. Un-muting a participant without their consent is a violation of privacy. However, the host can use the new Request to unmute feature to request participants to unmute themselves to share their thoughts during meetings. Learn more.

- View up to 250 video feeds: You can now view up to 250 video feeds on multiple pages. This allows you to see all your meeting participants in a gallery view when you’re scrolling through pages.
- Change layouts in audio session: There are several video layouts available during your audio and video conferencing. You can choose one to change the number of participant video feeds you see on your screen based on the size of your browser window or the meeting content.
- Suggest recording to host/cohost: We now provide a pop-up suggestion to alert the host/co-host if the session needs to be recorded after the meeting has started but they have not initiated the recording.
- Remember devices in webinar: With the remember devices feature, users can retain the audio/video pairing of their system for consecutive sessions.

- Advanced recording settings: We have added a new settings page for recording preferences under Manage Organization. This page will be accessible only for organization admins. The advanced recording settings include the ability for the host/co-host to record the meeting, share the recording, and an active speaker indicator, to name a few. - Revamped Outlook plugin download page: The Zoho Meeting plugin for Microsoft Outlook has had a complete makeover to be clearer and easier to use. You can use this page to download the plugin for your Windows OS. The plugin allows you to schedule your meetings directly from outlook and collaborate seamlessly with your clients. - GDPR consent popup for EU users: As a part of GDPR, EU users can now use their preferred data center location. When you select “Hosted” from the nearest data center option in the consent pop-up, data can be acquired quickly from the nearest server available in the EU region. This will increase performance, reduce latency, and allow instant connection.

Zoho Flow is an integration platform using which you can create custom integrations between different apps. iOS app updates
- You can now change the title of an ongoing meeting from your mobile device.
- Your upcoming meetings list will now show the meetings you are invited to.
- Previously, there were specific joining links for attendees and co-organizers. Now, attendees and co-organizers can join webinars using the same link.
- You can now select your audio output device by tapping on the speaker icon in the mobile app during a live session.
Bug fixes
Embedding links in webinar emails: We have fixed an issue that prevented users from embedding links into the content of webinar emails.
Unintended sharing of email addresses: Previously, co-organizer email addresses accidentally became visible to attendees when they answered questions in the Q&A tab. We have fixed the issue so that attendees can see only the names of co-organizers.
Embedded link expiry: We have fixed an issue that caused the embedded registration links of recurring webinars to expire after each session.
Inviting 250 participants: Previously, meeting organizers in the 250 participants plan were unable to add 250 email addresses while scheduling meetings. This has been fixed.

Virtual Backgrounds, Emoji, and Raise Hand

Features
Virtual background: Remote and hybrid work culture is here to stay. The flexibility to work from anywhere demands a few features, and virtual backgrounds are on top of this list. With Zoho Meeting, you can now add images or GIFs to mask your surroundings when you enter a meeting. If you want to change your setting without adding an image, you can also blur your background.
Raise Hand: Raising your hand is the easiest way to catch the attention of the speaker during a physical meeting. You can now do the same in virtual meetings. If you have something to add during a meeting but you do not want to interrupt the person who's speaking, use the Raise Hand feature. The presenter and co-hosts can see your request and give you a turn to speak.
Emoji: Make your online meetings fun and interactive. Add your nonverbal reaction to statements and comments made during a meeting using emoji reactions. Every time you react with an emoji, it will briefly appear on the screen for all participants.
Enhancements
- We've improved the UI of meeting and webinar lists in your Zoho meeting account.
- Earlier, only 10 custom dates could be added while scheduling recurring webinars. We've increased this to 50 now.

A new UI for distraction-free engagement in online meetings and webinars that scale up for 3000 attendees

New Meeting UI
- We've re-designed Zoho Meeting's online meeting UI to enable users to fully engage in conversations and boost productivity. The new UI is distraction-free, letting participants focus on the active speaker and the discussion at hand.
- The productivity of any meeting depends on the conversations participants have during the meeting. To help you focus on the conversations and the participants involved, we've enhanced the size of video feeds (16:9) to appear better on your screen.
- We've also doubled the number of video feeds you can see at a time from 25 to 50.
- We've cut clutter by reducing the meeting toolbar to a small panel that appears only when needed. However, you can still set your toolbar to be visible at all times if you want.
Host webinars with 3000 attendees
We've scaled up our webinars to empower you to influence larger audiences and widen your reach globally. Engage up to 3000 attendees at a time from any part of the world using webinars from Zoho Meeting.
Other enhancements
- We've introduced a filter in your Zoho Meeting account which you can use to separately view the lists of meetings scheduled by you and meetings to which you have been invited.
- We've also been working on some server-side enhancements to reduce connectivity issues and enhance audio/video quality.
- Bug fixes
- Some users reported an echo in their audio, issues with seeing attendees' names in participants lists, and presenters not receiving screen sharing requests. These have been fixed.
- Some participants reported they were unable to join recurring sessions. This issue has been fixed.
- We've resolved the issue that prevented the status of cancelled meetings from being updated in calendars.
- We've also fixed the issue which prevented the meeting agenda from being shown completely in calendars.

Add co-hosts to meetings
You can now make your organization members co-hosts of the meetings you schedule. Co-hosts can start and manage meetings in your absence. They can also leave the meeting without ending it.
Enhancements
- Duplicate participant handling: Zoho Meeting can now recognize a user joining from the same browser multiple times. This user will be encouraged to join from a single tab and will not be duplicated in the attendees list of the meeting window.
- Share and un-share recordings: You can now enable public sharing for your meeting recordings. If you want to make a recording inaccessible later, you can simply un-share it.
- You can now delete old recordings in bulk without having to delete each recording.
- Bandwidth optimization for better audio quality
- Optimizations to reduce re-connections during sessions.

- Some users had reported the issue of mirrored video feeds. This issue has been fixed.
Webinar updates

- Allow or block registrations: You can now allow or block registrations from a certain domain or a country. For example, if you are expecting registrations from business accounts, you can block registrations from public domains like gmail, yahoo etc. Similarly, if you need audience from only a specific country, you can enable registrations for that country or block registrations from other countries.
- If you are particular about the number of people who attend your webinar, you can now set a registration limit.
- If you want, you can make Zoho login mandatory for attendees to join your webinar.
- The joining URLs for meetings and registration URLs for webinars are now shortened for ease of use.

Customizable video feed layouts
We've introduced three new video feed layouts in Zoho Meeting to help you navigate through your participants' video feeds seamlessly. You can choose a video layout from the following layouts based on your preference:
- Tiled (Displays your participants feed in tiles)
- Active Speaker (Displays the active speaker in the center)
- Sidebar (Displays the shared screen in the center with the remaining video feeds on the right side)
You can also minimize the shared screen window, drag and drop them based on your liking. We've also introduced an interactive active video feed alignment system which will automatically reorder your participant's video feed based on their contribution to the meeting session.

We've made some UI tweaks to our invite participants page to help you invite folks to your meeting session in a jiffy. Q&A Enhancements in webinar
To improve your attendee engagement efficiency, we've made some interesting tweaks to our Q&A module. You can now assign questions to a specific staff member, set priority to a question, use templates to answer frequently asked questions, and offer interactive engagement to your attendees. You can also dismiss a question asked during a webinar based on its priority, improving your productivity within a few clicks.
Security updates
We are always committed to protecting your online presence. To continue to ensuring maximum security during your online meetings, we have released the following updates:
- Hide password
Hide your password field while joining your meeting with our unique meeting key. You'll be able to share the password secretly via your invitation mailers if you like.
- Participant information
To ensure awareness during an online meeting, you can now get live notifications regarding participant entry and exit, as well as prevent your screen from going to sleep during an audio conference. - Audio check: We now show a pop-up informing the user whether audio is received or not when a new device is plugged in.

- Membership authentication for presenters: Only users invited and approved by the admin as organization members can be added as presenters of meetings.

- Calendar sync: The issue of calendar details not getting updated when a recurring meetings is edited or deleted has been fixed.
- The issue causing multiple emails to be sent if a participant is invited to a recurring meeting has been resolved.
- The issue of participants' names being listed in the emails sent for recurring meetings has been resolved.
- When a meeting is added to a user's calendar, the time of the session will now be visible in the user's local timezone.

- We've made design and text changes in the UI for improved user experience.
- We now show a pop-up if no audio is detected while starting or joining a meeting and when users mute and unmute their microphones.
Audio bug fixes
- A bug in Google Chrome caused audio to be captured from users' internal microphones, even after they switched to using their Bluetooth device. This has been fixed from our end.
- Some users encountered errors while trying to select the microphone device during meetings and webinars. This issue has been fixed.
Meeting updates
Enhancements
- Rename instant meetings: Previously, instant meetings were named after the presenter's name by default. Now, you can add names for the instant meetings that you conduct. During the meeting, this name will be displayed at the top of the Attendees list, Chat tab, and Settings tab. Adding names also makes it easier for you to identify a meeting in the Past Meetings list after it's over. Learn more.
- Rename participants: Participants can now rename themselves in a meeting. Presenters can rename themselves, as well as participants. With this option, users can replace their official names with nicknames during a meeting. Learn more.
- Entry/exit notifications: Text notifications can now be enabled for attendee entry and exit, in addition to sound notifications.
- Leave meeting option: Previously, meeting presenters had to end a meeting before exiting the meeting. Now we've added a 'Leave meeting' option, so that a presenter can leave a meeting without ending the meeting when there are multiple presenters.
- Remove participants during screen sharing: Presenters were unable to remove participants engaged in screen-sharing during a meeting. Now, presenters can remove participants even if they are sharing their screens.
- If a participant gets disconnected from a meeting and the session changes to a video conference, there's now a notification to the participant informing them about the change when they rejoin.
- If a user's microphone is in the muted state while they speak, we now show a notification informing them to unmute their microphone.
- The icons that appear on the video feed of users have been re-aligned for better UI interaction.
Bug fixes
- Screen sharing error: If a participant moved away from the meeting tab after raising a request (to the presenter) for screen sharing, they were shown an error when they returned to the meeting tab. This issue has been fixed and participants can share their screen after the presenter accepts their request, even if they navigate to a different tab temporarily.
- Audio state mismatches in the UI have been fixed.
- Some users who joined meetings using Mozilla Firefox faced issues with frozen/black video feed while switching to computer audio. This issue has been fixed.
- Bugs related to attendee entry/exit sound notifications have been fixed.
- UI interaction issues with adding participants while scheduling a meeting have been fixed.
- Issues with editing meetings and changing presenters in the web application have been resolved.
- The issue of reminder emails for recurring meetings displaying incorrect meeting dates has been fixed.

Common updates for meetings and webinars
- As a performance enhancement, we have enabled bandwidth optimization for audio, video, and screen sharing. Users can also now view performance-related data under Settings.
- Recordings are now more reliable with a more robust recording engine which ensures that your recording does not become corrupt even if a server crash occurs unexpectedly.
- Some users faced the issue of an unknown device (displayed as "MediaStreamAudioDestination") shown as the chosen audio device. This was identified as a bug in the Google Chrome browser and it has been fixed from our end.
- Mozilla Firefox users were sometimes unable to re-connect their audio after being disconnected. This issue has been fixed.
Webinar updates
- With the new multi-video feed support in webinars, webinar hosts and attendees can now view the video feeds of organizers and co-organizers simultaneously with the screen broadcast.
- The issue in which the audio of a webinar attendee got unmuted unexpectedly when they changed their speaker device has been resolved.
- The issue which caused the video feeds to remain on the right side of the webinar window instead of being moved to the center after screen sharing ended has been fixed.
Online meeting updates
- The issue which caused shared screens to appear in smaller resolutions on participants' screens has been fixed.
- The issue which caused some video feeds to appear hidden under the meeting toolbar has been fixed.
- When a user switched audio options (computer audio to phone audio and vice-versa) or changed video devices, their video feed sometimes appeared to turn black. This issue has been fixed.
- The issue which caused the blue frame surrounding the video feed of the active speaker to hide the notifications bar has been fixed.
- Bugs that caused audio status mismatch (that is, showing an active audio state when the audio is not connected or when it's muted) have been fixed.
- If some disconnection happened on the participant's side after making a screen-sharing request to the meeting host, the screen-sharing button remained disabled even after re-connection. Now, the screen-sharing button will be enabled for the participant after connection is resumed.

Online meeting updates
- The microphone button remained active even when a user switched to phone audio. This issue has been fixed.
- An error caused the microphone status of participants to be wrongly displayed in the meeting toolbar and the attendees list.This issue has been fixed.
- There was a problem with displaying the name of the active speaker during meetings. This has been fixed now.
- The issue of Leave site prompt not being shown when a user clicked the Back button or refreshed the page has been fixed.
- Meetings were duplicated in the meeting lists available from mobile apps. This has been fixed.
- The microphone icon will now stay animated until the audio connection is established with the server.
- An issue prevented some meetings from getting added automatically to email client calendars upon receiving the invitation email. This has been fixed.

- Previously, if a meeting was canceled, it was not always updated in meeting participants' calendars. This issue has been fixed.

- Organizers and co-organizers can now mute each other and their attendees (if they speak in the webinar).
- Calendar links for webinars now contain the joining link of the webinar instead of the webinar registration link, so registrants will be taken directly to the webinar at the time of the webinar.
- In some cases, the names of all webinar attendees were not visible in the attendees list. This has been fixed.
- An issue that caused the organizers' and/or co-organizers' webinar pages to freeze when many attendees joined a webinar has been fixed.

- If a user connected to audio using an external microphone and later disconnected it, the audio sometimes failed to automatically connect via the default microphone of the computer. This issue has been fixed.
- Abrupt muting and unmuting of the microphone caused complete disconnection of audio for some users who connected via phone audio. This issue has been fixed.
Desktop app updates
- The Zoho Meeting Desktop app can now automatically update itself when new versions of the app become available.
- The Zoho Meeting Desktop app is now available for Linux users. Download Zoho Meeting desktop app
- The desktop app sometimes failed to open properly in older versions of Windows. To overcome this issue, you can download and use version 3.0.8 or higher of the Zoho Meeting Desktop app.
- Users from China could not use the desktop app as it did not support a login option for that region. Now, the option to log in to the app has been added for the Chinese region and they can use the desktop app for meetings and webinars.

Improved host controls and performance enhancements
Meeting module updates
Screen sharing control: Meeting hosts can now disable screen sharing by participants in the Settings menu.
Unmuting control:If meeting hosts want complete control over unmuting each participant in a meeting, they can disable the participants' ability to unmute themselves.
Participant notification: Enable entry/exit tone from Settings to get notified every time a participant joins or leaves a meeting.
Chat notification: Participants can now enable sound notifications for new messages in the chat tab.
Recording notification: Participants will now be notified with a "Recording in progress" message when the meeting host starts recording a meeting.
Audio-only meetings: You can now start audio-only meetings by using the Audio conferencing option under Meet now. Participants won't be able to use their camera in these audio conferencing sessions.
View duration: A timer at the top of the meeting UI displays the elapsed time from the start of the meeting. The total duration of the meeting will also be displayed at the end of the meeting.
Chat transcripts: Participants can now download chat transcripts at the end of a meeting.
Hide inactive video feeds: Disabled video feeds will be hidden from the active meeting UI and only active video feeds will be displayed to all participants.
View dial-in numbers: Previously, dial-in numbers for phone conferencing could only be viewed if a user switched from computer audio to phone audio in the meeting UI. Now, dial-in numbers can be viewed from Settings and can be used for phone conferencing. This feature is only available in the paid version of Zoho Meeting.
Filter participants: You can now filter the list of participants who have joined a meeting through computer, mobile, and the phone dial-in option.
Cliq status update: If you've integrated your Zoho Cliq account with Zoho Meeting, your Cliq status will be automatically updated to "In a meeting" while you're in one. This way, your team members will know when you're free to collaborate.
Muted audio by default: The audio of all participants will be muted by default when they join a meeting. This prevents participants' voices from being heard unintentionally when they aren't ready to speak in a meeting.
Common updates for meetings and webinars
Invalidating the keys of past meetings and webinars: This is an important security update. We're in the process of invalidating the keys of all of our users' past meetings and webinars. This prevents hackers from stealing the details of your past sessions by randomly guessing and creating keys. As a result, you won't be able to start or edit your past meetings and webinars anymore.
Noise cancellation: We've made enhancements to lower background noise in both meetings and webinars.

Features
Search and add presenter: If you want to make someone else the presenter while scheduling a meeting, you can search for the email address of the members in your organization in the Presenter field and add any of them as the presenter instead of manually typing in their email address.
Search meetings: You can now search and find individual meetings you have scheduled using the Search option in the upcoming and past meetings list.
Sort meetings: You can sort your upcoming and past meetings list based on the start time or the topic of the meetings. You can also select the number of meetings that should be listed on a page by selecting the number of records that should appear on a page.
Search contacts and add participants: While scheduling a meeting, you can now search email addresses in your contacts list and add participants instead of typing in each participant's email address. To add contacts, you can do a bulk upload to contacts.zoho.com and they will be added to your Zoho Meeting contacts list.
Post webinar re-direction: You can now take your webinar attendees to the web page of your choiceafter your webinar ends. This can be a "Thank you" page, your organization's website, a survey link, or any other web page you want your attendees to see.

Multiple email reminders: You can now set multiple reminders for meetings and webinars and send them to participants at different intervals before the session starts.
Customize registration field labels: You can now edit the field names of the available labels in the customizable webinar registration form. For example, the default field label "Name" can be changed to "First name" if you want.
Embed registration form: Previously, you could embed the registration link of your webinar on web pages. Now, you can embed your entire webinar registration form on websites to invite registrations.
Language localization: We have added support for many more languages for our Meeting users who belong to different regions around the world.

Features
Email customization: Customize the content and design of your webinar invitations, registration confirmations, and follow-up emails. Add and send multiple reminder emails before webinars.
Recurring meetings: Schedule a meeting once and set it to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, etc. Modify or delete a specific recurring meeting if you want, and the changes you make will be synced to your calendars as well.

Android app updates
Sign in and sign up options: You can now sign up for Zoho Meeting and sign in to your Zoho Meeting account from the Zoho Meeting Android app.

Enhancements
Device recognition: Zoho Meeting can now recognize new devices, such as headphones and cameras, if you add them to your hardware during a session.
Use session key as access code to join from phone: Attendees can now use the meeting or webinar key (10 digit code) as the access code to join the session by phone. Previously, access codes were different from keys and could be viewed only in meeting invitation emails or by selecting phone audio in active session windows.
Join meetings with presenter's link: Sometimes the presenter of a meeting mistakenly shares their Start meeting link with other participants instead of the intended Join meeting link. Until now, participants could not join meetings using this link and were required to use the Join meeting links from their email. However, Zoho Meeting now notifies a participant when they use the presenter's link and lets them join as a participant.
Mute phone participants: Previously, the presenter of a meeting could only mute participants who join via computer audio or VoIP. Now, we've added an enhancement to let presenters mute participants who join through phone audio as well.
Bug fixes
- In some cases, participants using Outlook email were getting bounce-back emails in response to their RSVP with the message "This user does not exist." This issue has been fixed now.
- A mistake in theUI text saying maximum meeting participants in the free edition is five has been corrected to two.
- The issue in the desktop app's download page preventing some users from downloading the Zoho app has been fixed.
- The issue preventing some webinar organizers from editing polls before and during the webinar has been resolved.

Collaborate in online meetings directly from your Gmail inbox. Open any email to schedule a meeting, and Zoho Meeting will automatically include all senders and recipients in the invitation list. Toll-free add-on for Zoho One users
Toll-free numbers are a great alternative for attendees to join sessions by phone without incurring charges when internet connectivity is weak. Zoho One users can now purchase the toll-free add-on of Zoho Meeting.

Reach a wider audience
You can now use email to promote your webinars and engage your leads with our Zoho Campaigns integration. View this option under Registration after you create a webinar. Learn more.
Share your results
Your webinar attendees can now view the results after they participate in a poll during your webinar. This makes it easier for attendees to understand the percentage of votes and the outcome, so you won't need to explain the results without visual reference.
Meetings
View microphone level
Meeting now offers a live graphic representing sound level for computer audio, so you can check your audio equipment before you enter a session. Enter a meeting window and select computer audio to check your volume level.
Add users to your Zoho CRM-Meeting Plus
You can now add users without a Zoho CRM account to your Zoho CRM-Meeting Plus account without paying for extra user licenses. To add users, go to Settings > Subscriptions and click Add users in the top-right corner.

- The issue of some webinar registrants not receiving registration confirmation emails when the email setting was turned on by the organization administrator has been fixed.
- Some webinars started by co-organizers could not be ended before due to an issue. This issue has been fixed.
- The issue causing some downloaded webinar reports to be .json format has been fixed and now organizers can download reports in XLS and CSV formats.
- The issue of webinar organizers being unable to answer questions through Q&A has been fixed.
- The issue of the mute icon failing to change when webinar attendees with Allow to Talk status tried to mute themselves has been fixed.
- The issue of webinar organizers seeing attendees using Allow to Talk in listen-only mode has been fixed.
- The issue causing a few webinar participants to see video disturbances has been resolved.

Sign in and meet from the iOS app
You no longer have to remain tied to your desk or laptop to host an online meeting. Sign in to the Zoho Meeting iOS app to launch your scheduled meetings from anywhere. Invite participants, share your screen, and record your meetings. Your recordings will be stored on the cloud and you can share them with anyone you want. Sign-in is not necessary for participants to join meetings, however it is required to conduct instant meetings using the Meet Now option.
Join webinars from iOS and Android
Webinars help you gain knowledge and receive training on different topics, eliminating the need to be physically present in a classroom. Now you can attend webinars and learn conveniently from your mobile device using the Zoho Meeting iOS and Android apps. Bug fixes
- The audio icon does not grey out now when video connection is established after disconnection.

Features
Co-organizers can now launch webinars
Co-organizers, who are members of your organization, can now start webinars just like the organizer. This comes in handy to avoid delays if the organizer is away on an emergency or unable to start the webinar. All co-organizers (both organization members and external contacts) can also launch polls, answer questions, allow an attendee to speak, or make someone a presenter.
Broadcast a message to your audience
Organizers and co-organizers can now share messages and links with your audience during a webinar. Notify users when your Q&A session starts or when an attendee is about to speak. You can also broadcast messages to initiate impromptu polls using the Raise Hand option.
Create polls during a webinar
Based on how your webinar goes, you might want to get more information from your audience through polls. In addition to launching polls that you have already created, you can now create instant polls during the webinar itself.
Note: Only webinar organizers can create instant polls.
Add webinars to your calendar
Webinar registrants can now add webinars to Google and Yahoo calendars from the relevant options in the webinar registration page or the registration confirmation email. They can also add webinars to other calendars like Outlook by downloading the .ics file.
Enhancements
- We have increased the Q&A character limit from 150 to 500 for questions and 200 to 2000 for answers.
- When a webinar reaches the maximum attendee limit, organizers and participants who try to join will be notified through a message.
- You can now share links via chat in online meetings.
- When the computer audio/screen sharing connection to the server can't be established, you'll be prompted to download the desktop app to continue with the session.
- You can now delete recordings from your Zoho Meeting account if you don't need them anymore.
- Issues related to joining webinars from the iOS app has been fixed. Webinar registrants joining from iOS devices will now get into the webinar directly through the app while accessing the join link.
- We fixed the issue of having to download the desktop app every time server mapping has been modified. Now the desktop app will only be downloaded once, and for subsequent sessions you'll automatically join with the desktop app without having to download it.

Give control in Mac
Meeting participants who are Mac users can now use the Give Control feature that lets another participant take control of their screen. This feature already exists for Windows users.
Enhanced Org Settings
Organization admins can now enable or disable sound notifications in meetings, registration notification emails for webinar organizers, registration confirmation emails for webinar registrants, and thank-you emails that are sent to attendees after webinars.
Initial setup screen for first time users
New users can now add members to their organization right after signing up with the new initial screen setup.
Conferencing server enhancement
We have done a few enhancements to improve the audio lag issue for participants who join from low bandwidth networks. We have also made major changes to improve audio and video streaming during sessions, for more stable calls from networks with different speeds.
Introducing the Firefox extension
There's good news for Mozilla Firefox users. You can now add the Zoho Meeting extension to your browser and keep your meetings and webinars handy.

- We have enhanced the user experience of attendees who join meetings and webinars through mobile apps.

Screen sharing for everyone in online meetings
Any participant in a meeting can now share their screen with the others without the approval of the presenter. For this, they can simply click the Share screen option on the left pane of the meeting window. This is an enhancement of the Make presenter feature that is no longer available. Learn more

Detect audio connectivity
Presenters can verify if all participants are connected to audio and able to hear them by checking the microphone icon next to each participant's name. The icon turns bold when a participant is connected to audio. If participants have joined from their phone, a phone icon will be shown instead of the microphone.
Invite participants option on the left menu
Presenters can now invite atttendees from their left pane during a meeting. An option to copy the link to clipboard is also provided.
Improved UI
The locations of major buttons in the UI have been changed to make it more user-friendly. A Meet Now button has been introduced to start online meetings instantly.
Enable or disable webinar registration notifications
A new setting has been introduced to enable and disable the emails that notify you about new webinar registrations.
View webinar time in any timezone
Registrants can now view the time of a webinar in any timezone using the dropdown list on the webinar registration page. This will help them plan their schedule better and attend webinars wherever they are.

A new tab that displays integrations for meetings and webinars has been introduced. You can enable and disable all Zoho meeting integrations from here.
View and manage subscriptions
You can now get more clarity on the editions and add-ons that you've purchased, or available to you, by using the new Subscriptions tab under the Settings module.
A better user management module
We have enhanced the User Management module to let the admin choose a designated role along with the editions for every user that they add.

Webinar enhancements
- Registrants can now choose the Already purchased option in the Purchasing time frame field of custom registration forms. Purchasing time frame is a pre-defined field you can add in your custom registration form for webinars.
- We have now removed the option to start past webinars. However, you can reschedule the webinar to a future date and start the same webinar.
- Once a webinar ends, new registrants will be notified about the expiry of the webinar through a message.
Desktop App Launcher
We have introduced a launcher for desktop app to quickly start/join any session from WebRTC unsupported browsers like IE, Safari, Opera etc. From now on, you, your participants and webinar co-organizers will need to download and install the desktop app only once, after which the launcher will automatically run the existing app when you join from unsupported browsers.
Calendar
We have fixed the duplicate event entry issue in Zoho Calendar when calendar setting is enabled. All the meeting events will be created only in your primary calendar instead of the Zoho Meeting calendar.
Automated emails
- Conference details provided for meetings are being sent along with email invitations when someone is invited from the Presenter toolbar during a meeting.
- Webinar presenter will be notified by email when webinar analytics is ready.
- The special characters added in the company name of your co-branding is now shown in the automated mailers.
- Now you can start or join a meeting from the link in 'session updated' notification email.

- We have resolved the issue of overriding admin settings and showing the webinar attendee's video when made them as a presenter during the webinar. Now the video feed works for all during the webinar based on the admin's video setting.
- We have now handled the reconnection of session recording in a proper way when the Presenter page gets reloaded.

- Now the video feed will be hidden and the video mute icon will be disabled when there exists a WebCam error after switching the presenter.

Copy join link option in webinar
We've received a few requests to show the registrants' join link for the webinar. So, we've added the link in the registrants list. Webinar presenters can now copy the join link for each registrant from the list.
New settings
We have added a couple of new settings for the organization to manage the default emails sent and the notifications.
- Registration notification email setting has now moved under the manage organization setting since this is based on the organization. Enabling or disabling this setting will be applied to all the organization members.
- We have now added a setting to play notification sound for the presenter whenever a participant joins or leaves the meeting.
- You can now control the webinar Thank You email for the attendees and Registration Confirmation email using the newly added settings. If you do not wish to send out these mailers from the product, you can disable it in the settings for the organization.
Presenter/participant application
- The links entered in the webinar Q&A are now shown as clickable links for the other attendees and presenters.
- We have resolved the issue of showing a blank popup after clicking on the Computer Audio option in Firefox browser when the microphone or camera device is not detected.
- We have resolved the issue of presenter's keyboard/mouse control being revoked when the page is either refreshed, or the connection gets reconnected at the participant's end.
- While joining a meeting from Mac OS Mojave version, we have fixed the issue of not showing the proper information when the camera device is blocked by the participant in the audio/video popup.

We have now made the audio enumeration dropdown more prominent so that it will be easy for presenter and participants to choose their bluetooth device if connected while joining the meeting.

- We have tweaked a few scenarios in server connection during the session which speeds up the reconnection process in case of any interruptions.

Desktop application

Choosing external audio and video devices
We already have an option to choose audio devices from the list of external audio devices connected to the computer. Now we have extended this feature to video devices also. If you have external video devices connected, you can select the webcam you would like to share with your meeting or webinar participants.
Enhancements
Automatic region based dial-in number display
To enhance the user experience for phone conferencing, we are now displaying the default phone number based on the country from where the presenter/participant join the session. You can view your country dial-in number(if available), conference code and pin just by choosing the Phone audio option while starting/joining the session.
Analytics ready notification
We have now added a notification email for the webinar presenter on the webinar analytics and reports are ready to view and export.
Drag and relocate the video feed
You can now drag the video feed in the presenter and participant's application to relocate anywhere inside the application. You don't have to worry that the shared screen behind the video feed getting hidden for the participants. They can just move around the video feed.
Speed enhancements
We have extended dedicated media servers to few more regions across the globe. Your participants can see improvements in screen sharing speed and this removes the unnecessary lag in both screen sharing and conference using computer's mic and speaker.
Phone audio enhancements
We have tuned the phone conference to improve the audio quality. We have also increased the volume of the voice through phone and you can see a betterment in the audio clarity during the conference.
Chrome extension changes
When you try to start screen sharing from the Google Chrome browser without the extension, it will take you to the Google Chrome Webstore where you can add the Zoho Meeting extension. This has been implemented with regards to GDPR compliance.
Enhanced video webinar scalability
We have now fine-tuned the webcam video streaming to enhance the scalability of the video webinar on a normal bandwidth network of the attendees. This also reduces the bandwidth usage and improved video streaming without any fuzzy or broken video frames.

- The issue of not connecting to audio if there is any problem with video device for a switched Presenter on a Windows PC has been fixed now.

Customize registration form
Now add predefined fields or custom fields to your webinar registration form. Get more information from your webinar registrants beforehand and understand your leads better. Lock meeting
Host private meetings by locking the meeting using the Lock Meeting option on the left panel of the Presenter app. The participants can then knock and join the meeting only after the presenter's approval. The presenter can choose to accept or reject the participant from joining the meeting.
Mute participants
The presenter can now take control of their web meeting's audio. Mute the participant with some background noise and make the meeting smooth. Mute individuals or all the participants during the meeting (the participant will be able to unmute themselves if desired).
Remove participants
The meeting presenter can now remove any participant and disconnect them from the meeting using the 'Remove' option beside the participant in the Attendee List.
Enhancements
Better webinar registration page
We have also redesigned the registration page to have a fresh and new-look along with the custom registration form. The registrants can now view the time of the webinar scheduled in their local timezone along with the scheduled timezone.
Thank you emails
We have now added the automated follow-up email for the webinar attendees thanking them for attending the webinar.
Zoho Contacts synced with Zoho Meeting
Zoho Contacts is now synced with Zoho Meeting and it gets listed as autosuggest in invite participant while scheduling meeting. The participants invited for a meeting will also be added to your Zoho Contacts.

We have come up with a tighter integration for online meetings with Zoho CRM events. You can also access all those meetings in your Zoho Meeting portal. This comes as an add-on to Zoho CRM paid and trial users. Android App
We are happy to announce our new android app for web meetings. You can start a meeting from your computer or iOS devices and your participants can join your meeting from their android devices using our android app. Get the Zoho Meeting app from the play store to join a web meeting.
Report Generation for Webinars
We have good news for those who've waited for the downloadable webinar reports functionality in Zoho Meeting. You can now generate various reports like registrants, attendees, polls, Q&As, and performance reports for your webinar from the Webinar Analytics section. All the reports are downloadable in XLS and CSV formats.
Hold Phone Audio Conferencing
You can now hold phone audio conferencing with Zoho Meeting. Once you schedule meeting and invite participants, the audio conference details will be sent to the invitees along with the invitation email. Your participants can join the conference directly from the phone using international numbers and conference code without joining from the web. However for security reasons the presenter has to start the meeting from the web. This feature is currently available in our early access servers. We are continuously focused on improving performance, stability, and connection speed. We have made some enhancements to the server connections and added new protocols to improve the stability of audio/video connections, so you'll see an improvement in the connection speed.
Screen Quality Improvements

Meeting Duration
As requested, we have now added meeting duration. You can now set the duration of your meeting, ranging from fifteen minutes to three hours, while scheduling. This will be sent along with the invitation email so your meeting participants can plan accordingly.
Exit Session
We have now introduced the option to end the meeting or webinar at the bottom left of the Presenter app. Your meeting participants/webinar attendees will be notified once you exit the session.

Now easily manage your cloud storage either by deleting the older session recordings or buying extra storage space. The storage limit goes as 10 session recordings per host for lower plans and 25 session recordings for higher plans.

Now, we have better handled the usability to enhance the user experience while launching or joining a meeting or webinar session. You can choose the audio options before entering in to the session and check your audio and video connections beforehand.
Presenter and participant app
After an analysis on the visual appeal for the attendees, we have now implemented the white theme to presenter and participant apps. This not only includes the change in color theme, this also holds better visibility to the options and the presenter's screen.
Web client
- Reorganized the tabs in your Zoho Meeting portal for better usability.
- Introduced handy placeholder for the downloadable apps like chrome extension, iOS app and desktop app at the bottom of the home tab.
- Moved the 'Manage Organization' tab inside the Settings page.
- You can now start an instant meeting right from the My Meetings tab itself.
