# How do I record a credit card payment?

Payments received through credit cards can be recorded in Zoho Invoice in multiple ways:

1.  Auto-charge by saving the customer’s card.
2.  Charge the customer’s card manually.
3.  Record payments offline.

To record this payment offline:

*   Go to the _Invoices_ module on the left sidebar and select the invoice for which you want to record the payment.
*   Click **Record Payment** on the top of the invoice’s overview page.
*   Check if the auto-populated details are right and click the dropdown next to _Payment Mode._
*   Select **Credit Card** from the listed options and click **Record Payment.**

The credit card payment received from your customer will be recorded and the status of the invoice will change to “Paid”.
