# How can I display the Total Amount Excluding TDS on an invoice PDF?

When TDS is applied to an invoice, the Total shows the amount after TDS is deducted. You can enable the **Total Amount Excluding TDS** label to also display the original invoice amount before TDS is deducted.

To enable it:

*   Log in to your _Zoho Books_ organisation.
*   Navigate to **Settings** in the top-right corner.
*   Under _Organisation Settings_, go to _Customisation_ and select **PDF Templates**.
*   Hover over the invoice template where you want to enable the **Total Amount Excluding TDS** label.
*   Click **Total** in the left panel.
*   Go to the **Labels** tab.
*   Select the **Total Amount Excluding TDS** checkbox.
*   Click **Save**.

The **Total Amount Excluding TDS** label will appear below **Total** on invoices that use the configured template and have a TDS deduction applied.

**Note:**This setting is specific to each invoice template. You must enable it separately for each template where you want to display the label.
