# How to add a sales income account?

To add a sales income account, you just need to create an income account. To do this:

*   Go to the _Accountant_ module on the left sidebar and select **Chart of Accounts**.
*   Click the **\+ New Account** button in the top right corner of the page.
*   In the _Create Account_ page, select Account Type as **Income** and enter the Account Name.
*   Add other necessary details and click **Save** at the bottom.

With this, a new sales income account will be created.
