How do I create a user who has API access?

In Verifone, a user cannot have access to both the Seller Area and API simultaneously. Hence, you will have to assign the API role to a particular user. To grant API access to a user, you’ll first need to create an API role and then assign it to the user.

To create an API role:

• Go to Settings and select User Management.
• Navigate to the Roles tab.
• Click the Edit icon next to API Role.
• Select the privileges you want to assign to this role.
• Click Save.

Once created, the API role will be available for assigning to new users.

To provide API access to new user:

• Go to Settings and select User Management.
• Click + Add User.
• Enter the Name, Email Address, and Password.
• Check the API Role box.
• Click Save.

The user will have API access based on the privileges assigned to their role.
