Is it possible to cancel a purchase order if I’ve not submitted it for approval?

You cannot cancel a purchase order that hasn’t been submitted for approval. To submit the purchase order for approval:

  • Go to Purchase Orders under the Purchases module on the sidebar.
  • Select the purchase order that you want to submit for approval.
  • Click Submit for Approval at the top.

Once you’ve submitted the purchase order for approval, you can cancel it. Here’s how:

  • Click the More icon, and a drop down menu will appear.
  • Click Cancel Items if you want to partially cancel items in the purchase order, or click Mark as Cancelled to cancel the purchase order.
