How do I check if my client has viewed the transactions I’ve sent them?

Prerequisites

Before you can check if your customer has viewed the transaction you’ve sent to them, you will have to:

  • Enable Customer Portal for your organization and enable portal access to your customers. Read our help document on customer portal to learn how to enable customer portal for your customers.
  • Enable Email Insights for your organization. Read our help document on Emails to learn how to enable email insights for your organization.

To see the transactions that your customers viewed:

  • Go to the Sales module on the left sidebar and select a module, say Invoices.
  • Click the All dropdown at the top and select Customer Viewed.

All transactions viewed by your customers will be listed here. An Eye icon will be displayed next to the transaction number if your customers viewed the transaction from the portal. An Open Mail icon will be displayed next to the transaction number if your customers viewed the transaction from the email you sent.
