When I comment on a transaction and check the “Display in Portal”, will my customers receive an email?

Your customers will receive an email whenever you comment on transactions and check the Display in Portal option if you’ve enabled the preference in the customer portal. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Customer Portal under Preferences.
  • Scroll down and check the Send an email notification to customers when I comment on transactions option.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

Your customers will now receive an email whenever you add a comment to transactions created for them.
