How do I restrict users in my organization from updating the price of items?
To restrict users from updating the price of items in your organization, you need to update their access to the Purchase Price and Selling Price custom fields to Read Only. Here’s how:
- Go to Settings in the top right corner of the page.
- Click Items under Items.
- Go to the Field Customization tab.
- Hover over the Selling Price and Purchase Price fields, click the dropdown icon, and select Configure Access.
- Update the access to Read Only for the required roles.
- Click Save.
Users of the selected role will not be able to update the price of items in your organization.
