How do I delete an item?
To delete an item:
- Log in to your Zoho Books account.
- Go to Items on the left sidebar, and select Items.
- Choose the item you want to delete.
- Click the More icon and select Delete from the dropdown.
- In the pop-up, click Delete to confirm the deletion.
Once you complete the above steps, the selected item will be deleted.
Note: If the item is part of any transactions, you cannot delete it until those transactions are deleted. Instead, you can make them inactive.
To mark an item inactive:
- Go to Items on the left sidebar, and select Items.
- Choose the item you want to mark as inactive and click the More icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Select Mark as Inactive.
Now, the selected item will be marked as inactive and can again be marked as active anytime.
