I want to transfer the profits I’ve gained to my partner. How do I do this in Zoho Books?
To transfer the profits you’ve gained to a partner in your organization:
- Go to Accountant on the left sidebar and select Manual Journals.
- Click + New Journal in the top right corner of the page.
- Fill in the required details.
- Select Retained Earnings as the Debit account, and the account in which you want to record the transfer as the Credit account.
- Enter the amount debited and credited.
- Click Save and Publish.
