# How do I delete my Zoho Books organization?

If you’re dealing with a large volume of incorrect transactions in your current organization and need to remove them, the process typically involves manually navigating through each module to delete them. Alternatively, you can create a new organization and begin anew.

**Warning:** Once you delete your organization, you will no longer be able to access it. Ensure that you take a backup before deleting the organization. Read our help document on [data backup](https://www.zoho.com/books/help/settings/backup.html) to learn more.

**Prerequisites:**

*   The organization should not be subscribed to any paid plan.
*   The user who is deleting the organization must be the last active **Admin** of the organization.
*   All integrations must be disabled.

To delete your Zoho Books organization:

*   Click the organization name in the top right corner of the page and select **Manage**.
*   Click the **More** icon next to the organization that you want to delete and select **Delete** from the dropdown.
*   Check the **I want to permanently delete this Zoho Books organization and its contents** option in the pop up that appears.
*   Click **Delete Organization**.

Your Zoho Books organization will be deleted and you will no longer be able to access it.
