How do I match a transaction with multiple customer payments?

Zoho Books allows you to match uncategorized transactions by automatically displaying the best possible matches when you try to match them.

To match a transaction with multiple customer payments:

Go to Banking on the left sidebar and select a bank account.

Select the transaction you want to match under the Uncategorized Transactions tab.

The possible matches for the selected uncategorized transactions will be displayed in the right side. Select the matching Zoho Books transaction and click Match.

If you haven’t recorded customer payments in Zoho Books yet, the corresponding invoices will be listed in the right side for you to match them with the selected uncategorized transactions.
