How do I change currency associated with customer?

You cannot change the currency associated with a customer if you’ve created transactions for that customer. You need to first delete the transactions created for the customer.

Note: Once you delete the transactions created for the customer, you will not be able to retrieve them. Before deleting them, ensure that you take a backup.

To change the customer’s currency:

  • Go to Sales on the left sidebar and select Customers.
  • Select the customer whose currency you want to change.
  • Go to the Other Details section in the Overview tab of the customer.
  • Click the Edit icon next to Default Currency.
  • Select currency code of the currency from the dropdown.
  • Click the Tick icon to change the currency.

You can also change the default currency in the Edit Customer page.
