How do I view/filter duplicate transactions?

Duplicate transactions are exact copies of original transactions and can complicate the bank account reconciliation process in Zoho Books.

By default, Zoho Books automatically excludes duplicated transactions. To view transactions that are marked as duplicate:

  • Go to Banking on the left sidebar and select a bank account with duplicate transactions
  • In the Uncategorized transactions tab, click Excluded in the right corner.

In this tab, you will be able to view all the duplicate transactions that were automatically or manually excluded.

In case you want to exclude duplicate transactions manually:

  • Go to Banking on the left sidebar and select a bank account with duplicate transactions.
  • In the Uncategorized Transactions tab, select the transactions you wish to exclude, and click Exclude.
  • In the popup that appears, enter a Reason for excluding the transactions.
  • Click Exclude all.

The duplicate transactions in the bank account will be excluded.
