How do I record a credit card payment?

Payments received through credit cards can be recorded in Zoho Invoice in multiple ways:

  1. Auto-charge by saving the customer’s card.
  2. Charge the customer’s card manually.
  3. Record payments offline.

To record this payment offline:

  • Go to the Invoices module on the left sidebar and select the invoice for which you want to record the payment.
  • Click Record Payment on the top of the invoice’s overview page.
  • Check if the auto-populated details are right and click the dropdown next to Payment Mode.
  • Select Credit Card from the listed options and click Record Payment.

The credit card payment received from your customer will be recorded and the status of the invoice will change to “Paid”.
