Create Retainers

Let’s say your customer pays you advance money for a quote. In such a case, you can record the advance by creating a retainer invoice.

After you have created a quote for a customer and it has been accepted by them, you can create a retainer invoice for the customer directly from the quote. Here’s how:

• Go to Sales and select Quotes.

• Select the quote (in the Accepted status) for which you want to create a retainer invoice.

• Click the More button and select Create Retainer Invoice from the dropdown.
