If you have set up an approval process where all approvers can approve, you can delete or mark an approver as inactive. This will not affect the approval process as other approvers can take care of the approval requests.
But if an approver is involved in a multi-level approval process, you cannot delete or mark them as inactive. To delete or mark them as inactive, you must first remove them from the approval hierarchy. Here’s how:
