gst

I have pushed my transactions to the GST portal from Zoho Books. How can I identify whether the push was successful or not?

When the transactions have been pushed, a success or failure notification will be sent to the user who initiated the push. If the push is successful, you can log in to your GST portal and proceed with filing your return. If there are any invalid entries, then the push will fail, and the reason for the failure will be mailed to the user who initiated the push.

You can also view the failed transactions in the GST filing module of Zoho Books for GSTR 1 returns. To view it:

  • Click GST Filing in the left sidebar.
  • If the Branches feature is enabled, you’ll be redirected to the List of GSTINs page. Click View Summary next to the required GSTIN.
  • If the Branches feature is not enabled, you will be redirected to the GSTIN’s page.
  • In the Monthly/Quarterly Returns section, go to GSTR 1 and click Push to GSTN.
  • In the Push to GSTN tab, click Failed Transactions.
  • In the Failed Transactions section, the failure reason and the transactions that failed will be listed. You can make changes to the transaction and push the returns to the GST portal again.

Note: If you are filing GSTR-1 directly from Zoho Books, once the transactions have been successfully pushed and uploaded to the GST portal, you will receive a confirmation email and a notification in Zoho Books. You can click the File Now button in Zoho Books to file the return instead of logging into the GST portal.
