How do I extend the validity period of an e-Way bill?

You can extend the validity period of a generated or expired e-way bill up to eight hours before or after its expiration. Here’s how:

• Go to e-Way Bills on the left sidebar.
• Select the e-way bill for which you want to extend the validity period.
• Click Extend e-Way bill on the top-right corner of the page.
• In the popup that appears, select the Consignment Type.
• Enter the consignment’s Current Place, Current Pincode and select the Current State.
• Enter the Approximate Distance (in km) from your current consignment location to the destination.
• Select the Extend Reason.
• Click Save.

Now, the validity period of your e-Way bill will be extended.
